Waste of time and money,
This program is a waste of time and money. After paying for this overpriced software package, a few months later they hit you with more charges to maintain your account. The program does nothing more than show you pictures and then says the words in Korean. They never bother to teach anything or give you a way to learn what they are saying except by the picture. Most of the time the picture is confusing and doesn’t help explain what your supposed to be learning. I regret making this purchase, wish I could get a refund.

I’m sorry to hear that you didn’t enjoy your learning experience with Rosetta Stone! When you purchase Rosetta Stone Version 4, you receive 3 complimentary months of online access to Rosetta Studio and Rosetta World, which are excellent tools to help you get further practice in your new language. Once those 3 months expire, you will still have access to Rosetta Course, which is where we teach you the language. If you’d like, you can choose to purchase additional months of online access at any time, directly through your program.
Rosetta Stone will teach you a new language the same way you learned your first language: by directly associating words with objects, actions and ideas that convey meaning. Rosetta Stone uses the Dynamic Immersion Method to simulate a real-life immersion experience. This means that there are no translations offered; it mimics the experience of interacting with native speakers.
There are different lessons within the program as well. The Core Lessons introduce the new material, and then this material is reinforced by shorter focus activities that target specific skills such as reading, listening, speaking, pronunciation, vocabulary, writing and review. The repetition really helps the material to stick with you.
We hope this information helps, and we wish you the best of luck in your Korean learning!
